How Does It Work?

Quite simply the same as your fridge. The heat pump extracts heat from the air at temperatures as low as -15 degrees Celsius and transfers this heat to either a transfer box or directly in to your S-Plan standard heating system.

Based on the operational efficiencies of a refrigeration system delivers heat at 350% to 500% efficiency.

The best modern condensing boiler operates at 93% efficiency.

What this means is that for every kilowatt of energy used you get

  3.5-5 kilowatts of heat.
